BALDWYN, Miss. (WTVA) - A Baldwyn High School junior is being treated for a serious injury suffered during a Friday afternoon motorcycle accident near the school.
Police say Johndrix Robinson was riding the motorcycle on Jones Street when he lost control of it after hitting a car.
The accident apparently happened sometime around 4 p.m.
Robinson was rushed to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Chief Troy Agnew adds that no one else was hurt in the accident.
The injured student is a running back on the school's football team, and the team's Twitter account posted this message:
