TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) – This weekend many law enforcement agencies will allow residents to properly dispose of their unwanted prescription and over-the-counter drugs.
National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day will be set for Saturday, October 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
However, Tupelo police and the Lee County Sheriff’s Department will hold their “take-back” days on Friday, October 27.

Tupelo Police Department – Friday, October 27, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Front Street headquarters
Lee County Sheriff’s Department – Friday, October 27, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Commerce Street office
Fulton Police Department – Saturday, October 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Walmart
West Point Police Department – Saturday, October 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Save-A-Lot grocery store
Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department – Saturday, October 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Sheriff’s office in Pittsboro
Oxford Police Department – Saturday, October 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Fred’s pharmacy
Starkville Police Department – Saturday, October 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Vowell’s Supermarket
Ole Miss Police Department – Saturday, October 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Ole Miss Welcome Center
Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department – Saturday, October 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Sheriff’s department in Iuka
