LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - A man is accused of sexual assaulting a juvenile while his female companion watched.
On October 3, the Lowndes County Sheriff's Department received a report of a sexual assault of a juvenile in the Crawford area.
Jeffery Jackson, 44, of Crawford, is accused of assaulting the juvenile. Jasmine Coleman, 25, of Crawford, is accused of watching the incident.
According to an affidavit, Coleman threatened to kill the victim if the victim did not comply.
The victim was able to get away and run off into a wooded area after the assault.
Both Jackson and Coleman are charged with sexual battery. The sheriff's department says more charges could come forward as the investigation continues.
