STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) – A recent teacher with the Starkville-Oktibbeha Consolidated School District has been arrested, accused of not using her real name to obtain financial credit.
Lt. Brett Watson with the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department confirms Jennifer Baggett, 45, was arrested and charged with six counts of fraudulently obtaining goods by false identification.
Jail information shows she was arrested on October 3.
She is currently in the Oktibbeha County jail with a $60,000 bond.
A spokesperson with the school district confirms Baggett is no longer with the district.
