Fire destroys Houston home

A Houston home is considered a total loss after a fire consumed it Sunday.

HOUSTON, Miss. (WTVA) - A Houston home is considered a total loss after a fire consumed it Sunday.

The house is on Jamison Street.

The Houston Fire Department says the fire happened Sunday morning near 4:00.

The fire was extinguished sometime near 6 a.m.

No one was home at the time of the fire. The fire department believes the fire started in the carport area, and there appear to be no indications of arson.
