JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - Thursday morning, the Mississippi State Department of Health reported 4,412 more COVID-19 cases and 20 more deaths.
Ten COVID-19 related deaths occurred in Covington, Harrison, Hinds (3), Holmes, Kemper, Lamar, Lincoln and Quitman counties.
The other 10 deaths happened between Dec. 23, 2020, and July 31, identified from death certificates, in Bolivar, George, Greene (3), Hinds, Lauderdale, Lee, Montgomery and Simpson counties.
Since the onset of the pandemic in Mississippi in March 2020, the MSDH has reported 376,124 total cases and 7,730 total deaths.
During the same time period, the MSDH also reported 326,558 recoveries.
