CORINTH, Miss. (WTVA) - A 23-year-old man will serve life in prison for his role in the murder of a Corinth businessman.
According to District Attorney John Weddle, Darius Deen pleaded guilty Wednesday in Alcorn County to first-degree murder and armed robbery.
Deen received a life sentence for murder and a concurrent 35-year sentence for armed robbery.
He’s accused of murdering and robbing George Harris, 57, on May 20, 2018.
Police found Harris dead on the front porch of his home on Liddon Lake Road.
Weddle says Harris owned a lawn service and home repair business.
