Train cars derail in Guntown, no injuries

No one was hurt after multiple train cars came off the tracks in Guntown.

GUNTOWN, Miss. (WTVA) - No one was hurt after several train cars came off the tracks in Guntown.

Guntown Police Chief Michael Hall says the railroad track came loose under the train.

Hall says the train cars were carrying corn. There are no safety concerns.

This is between Towery Street and Main Street.

Hall says equipment is being brought in to pick up the two train cars.
