SALTILLO, Miss. (WTVA) - A teenager is in custody and two people are still wanted after a lengthy chase Friday morning in Lee County.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Department (LCSD), Saltillo police officers responded Friday to a report of a suspicious person in an unnamed neighborhood.

The police officers saw a vehicle parked on the side of the road.
The officers then saw three people in another vehicle that was parked at a home. The vehicle parked at the home was a locked, unmarked LCSD vehicle. A deputy lived at the home.
Saltillo police called the deputy and they chased after the three individuals.
Officers managed to arrest one of the three individuals, 19-year-old Tedarrian Fields of Tupelo. According to the sheriff’s department, Fields had the deputy’s gun.
One of the remaining individuals stole another vehicle and fled from officers. Officers chased after the vehicle. The chase ended at an unnamed apartment complex in Verona where the driver managed to elude officers.
Fields and the other individuals face felony charges. The sheriff’s department did not release the names of the two wanted individuals.
