BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Students at Northeast Mississippi Community College (NEMCC) are learning what it takes to become an HVAC technician and find a long-lasting career.
This is a two-year program that focuses on all parts of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry.
Students get a hands-on look at how fix machines like air conditioners, refrigerators, furnaces, compressors, thermostats and more.
HVAC technicians are in high demand and will continue to be a vital part of our lives.
In this program, 90 percent of students find work upon graduation, and more find work during their second semester.
