President Bo Robbins said the furniture industry saw a surge in demand during the pandemic.
And despite the company’s recent expansion, it still needs more workers to meet demand.
Robbins said upholsterers with Fusion Furniture can make up to $30 per hour, almost twice the national average according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
“Since we have started the facility, people have been so complimentary of the culture and how we take care of our people, the work-life balance,” Robbins said.
Once hired, Robbins said workers also receive on-the-job-training and learn new skills during their time with the company.
Anyone seeking a job can apply in-person at Fusion's facilities in Ecru or New Albany.
