State reported 206 new coronavirus cases, 10 new deaths

The Mississippi State Department of Health reported 206 new cases of the coronavirus on Monday with 10 new deaths.

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) — The Mississippi State Department of Health reported 206 new cases of the coronavirus on Monday with 10 new deaths, one of them in Yalobusha County.

With those additions, the state coronavirus case count stands at 13,458 with 635 coronavirus-related deaths.

As for local counties, Noxubee had seven new cases bringing its county total to 165.

Oktibbeha County picked up five new cases. That places the case count there at 139.
