JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) reported 911 new COVID-19 cases and 23 new deaths Thursday, Feb. 11.
New COVID-19 related deaths reported to MSDH as of 3 p.m. Wednesday. Twenty-one deaths occurred between Jan. 8 and Feb. 10 in the counties below.

As of Thursday, Feb. 11, there have been 284,664 total cases of the virus since mid-March 2020, which is when the state reported its first case. There have been 6,390 total deaths.
The state health department estimates there have been 253,140 recoveries.
