JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) reported 675 new COVID-19 cases and 8 new deaths Monday, Oct. 26.
New COVID-19 positive test results reported to MSDH as of 6 p.m. Sunday.
- 228 of these cases were reported as of Saturday the 24th.
- 447 cases were reported as of Sunday the 25th.
New COVID-19 related deaths reported to MSDH as of 6 p.m. Sunday. Four deaths occurred between October 11 and October 25 in the counties below.

Four COVID-19 related deaths occurred between August 29 and October 6, identified from death certificate reports.

As of Monday, Oct. 26, there have been 115,763 total cases of the virus since mid-March, which is when the state reported its first case. There have been 3,263 total deaths.
The state health department estimates there have been 97,675 recoveries.
