JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - The state health department reported 283 new cases of the coronavirus and 4 new deaths Monday, June 15.
The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) updates its case totals each morning based on test results from the previous day.
New coronavirus-related deaths reported to MSDH as of 6 p.m. Sunday:
- Greene - 1
- Jones - 1
- Lamar - 1
- Panola – 1
As of Monday, June 15, MSDH estimates 13,356 people have recovered from the virus.
Since mid-March, when the state reported its first case of the virus, MSDH has reported 19,799 total cases and 895 total deaths.
