MEMA director Greg Michel is now resting at home after being admitted to the hospital due to COVID-19 complications.

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - The director of the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) is resting at home after a brief stint in the hospital due to COVID-19 complications.

Director Greg Michel was admitted to the hospital during the weekend with pneumonia, a complication from his infection with COVID-19.

He was released from the hospital Wednesday night.
