MATHISTON, Miss. (WTVA) -- One local restaurant owner has added multiple procedures to make sure that his customers can dine safely.
3 Star Restaurant owner Marcquell Patterson said safety is a top priority for his customers.
“We just kind of opened up slowly, we would let like 20 percent capacity in,” said Patterson.
Patterson said all customers that dine in are seated with a table between the next party.
“We’re just following all the guidelines, all the health issues, everything, all of the restrictions and requirements," said Patterson
Patterson said before customers can enter the buffet line, they are asked to wash or sanitize their hands provided at the door.
Patterson also added floor markers to remind customers to social distance.
To make sure the restaurant remains safe, the owners are asking customers to dine outside on Tuesdays while the restaurant is deep cleaned.
Patterson said right now, he is only allowing 50 percent capacity to dine at one time.
He said he hopes to allow full capacity soon.
