HOUSTON, Miss (WTVA) -- As the coronavirus pandemic impacts our everyday way of life, some restaurants are booming.
At the Saxon's Drive-In, summer is usually the busiest time of the year.
But business has been booming so far this spring, thanks to the coronavirus.
Since it does offer outdoor seating, Hannah Henry says the drive-in is an ideal pit stop for people who want to go out to eat.
"When corona hit two months ago, we were a little nervous. I mean, I think everyone didn't know what to expect however we do have a drive through. We were a little stock up on cleaners and things such as that so things actually business picked up and we give all that glory to God for business picking up but having a drive through made things a lot easier," Henry said.
Henry says the drive-in, which opened back in 1972, is doing three times the business as a normal summer day.
