COFFEEVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — People in Coffeeville are now required to wear a mask or face covering to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Aldermen unanimously voted last week to implement the mask order.
Under the ordinance, customers and employees at businesses must wear a mask. The same goes for town employees while on the job inside the workplace or while in contact with the public.
Children under the age of 10 are exempt from the mask requirement.
There is also a curfew from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. every day except for those over 21 who are traveling for work or grocery shopping.
