ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) - The Aberdeen School District has pushed back the start of a new school year due to the high number of coronavirus cases.
Superintendent Jeff Clay said because of the recent spike in cases, the district will start back on August 24th.
The first day back was originally set for August 6th.
Clay says the move will give teachers extra time to adjust to changes.
