ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA)- Aberdeen Mayor Maurice Howard confirmed someone working in City Hall tested positive for the coronavirus.
Howard said if anyone visited City Hall recently and experiences symptoms should immediately go and get tested for the virus.
"We need you to pray for our community as well as our nation," he said. "If you've been in and out of the city hall, no matter whose office you were in, you might want to get tested."
City Hall in Aberdeen will close down for 14 days. He is not releasing the name of the person diagnosed.
