STILL HOT AND MOSTLY DRY . . . . .
A weak stationary front sits to the south of our area. This front has produced a few isolated showers and storms across Central Mississippi and West Central Alabama. Otherwise, we have seen generally mostly sunny skies across the area. This will continue to be the story over the next several days. However, another frontal system enters our area by later on Saturday and into Sunday. This front will give us a little better chance for some scattered showers and storms for Sunday and Monday. A few of the storms may pack a punch with some strong and gusty winds and some hail, otherwise we will see more high temperatures around 90. By the way our Independence Day looks like will have about a 20% chance of some of Mother Nature's fireworks.
