* At 753 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Columbus AFB, moving south at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near... Columbus and Steens around 805 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Artesia. HAIL...<.75IN WIND...60MPH

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for... Southeastern Union County in northeastern Mississippi... Itawamba County in northeastern Mississippi... Lee County in northeastern Mississippi... Northeastern Monroe County in northeastern Mississippi... Southwestern Prentiss County in northeastern Mississippi...

* Until 900 PM CDT.

* At 705 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Tupelo, Amory, Fulton, Baldwyn, Tombigbee State Park, Saltillo, Guntown, Plantersville, Mantachie, Smithville, Tremont, Pratts Friendship, New Salem, Blair, Evergreen, Clay, Hatley, Marietta, Abney and Mooreville.

* Until 945 PM CDT.

* At 744 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area. Doppler radar indicates up to 2 inches of rain has fallen in the past hour.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Amory, Aberdeen, Smithville, Prairie, New Wren, Nettleton, Hatley, Gattman, New Hamilton, Binford, Sipsey Fork, Becker, Quincy, Splunge, Wise Gap, Athens, Wren, Strong, East Aberdeen and Bigbee.
