Vancouver, BC (SportsNetwork.com) - Vancouver Canucks forward Daniel Sedin left Sunday's Heritage Classic against the Ottawa Senators with a lower-body injury.

Less than five minutes into the second period, Sedin was checked awkwardly into the boards by Ottawa defenseman Marc Methot.

Sedin appeared to be holding his left hamstring before gingerly walking to the locker room.

The 33-year-old Sedin entered the game with 13 goals and 27 assists this season.
