East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) - The New York Giants lost a pair of starters in the first quarter of Sunday's preseason contest against the Indianapolis Colts, with wide receiver Victor Cruz and center David Baas leaving the contest with lower leg injuries.

Cruz appeared to injure his foot while running a route and Baas was seen going to the locker room with a balky knee.

Both players had X-rays that came up negative, revealing a bruised heel for Cruz and a strained left knee for Baas. Neither player returned to the game.
