Orchard Park, NY (Sports Network) - The Buffalo Bills have placed cornerback Leodis McKelvin on injured reserve and re-signed linebacker Kirk Morrison.

McKelvin missed last Sunday's 50-17 loss to the Seahawks in Toronto with a groin injury. He finished the season with 21 tackles and one interception while starting four of the 13 games he played.

One of the league's more explosive return men, McKelvin led the NFL by averaging 18.7 yards per punt return and ranks fourth at 28.3 yards in kickoff return average. He is the only player this season to return two punts for touchdowns.

Morrison returns to the Bills after being released on Dec. 3. He has compiled six sacks and seven interceptions in 111 career games with Oakland, Jacksonville, Buffalo.
