Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Golden State Warriors center Jermaine O'Neal has been diagnosed with a bruised right knee and minor groin strain after undergoing an MRI exam on Sunday.

O'Neal, who is averaging 5.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in nine games this season, left Saturday night's home tilt against the Utah Jazz early in the fourth quarter.

He is listed as day-to-day and did not make the trip to Utah for Monday's game against the Jazz.

The 17-year veteran owns career averages of 13.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 976 regular-season games (684 starts) with the Portland Trail Blazers, Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors, Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns and Warriors.

O'Neal was named to six consecutive All-Star squads as a member of the Pacers from 2002-07 and was selected as the NBA's Most Improved Player in 2001-02.
