Pelicans' Anderson out indefinitely with herniated disc

New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New Orleans Pelicans announced Tuesday that Ryan Anderson is out indefinitely with a herniated disc.

Anderson was taken off the court on a stretcher following a collision with Boston's Gerald Wallace in the fourth quarter of last Friday's game against the Celtics at TD Garden.

In 22 games this season, Anderson is averaging 19.8 points and 6.5 rebounds. He won the NBA's Most Improved Player award in 2011-12.
