Recap: Milwaukee vs. Minnesota
Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Brandon Knight had 14 points and four assists as the Milwaukee Bucks cruised past the Minnesota Timberwolves 98-84 on Friday night.
O.J. Mayo and John Henson each netted 12 points off the bench, while Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo added 10 points and seven rebounds apiece for the Bucks, who have won five of their last seven games.
"We have to be a little bit more careful with the ball," Milwaukee coach Jason Kidd said of his team's 23 turnovers.
Andrew Wiggins posted 20 points, seven boards and five helpers to lead Minnesota, which has dropped 14 consecutive games.
The Wolves led 22-19 following a quarter of play, but the Bucks seized control in the second, outscoring Minnesota 34-16 in the frame.
After Shabazz Muhammad staked Minnesota to a 24-19 margin early in the period, Milwaukee responded with an extended 24-7 run.
Henson netted seven consecutive points during the surge, Mayo sunk a pair of 3-pointers and Antetokounmpo converted a layup to cap the burst and give the Bucks a 43-31 advantage.
Middleton's trey in the final moments of the half upped Milwaukee's cushion to 53-38 heading into the break.
The Bucks led 72-58 after three and cruised to the easy victory in the fourth.Game Notes
