Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Along with a 119-98 loss to the Houston Rockets, the Sacramento Kings saw two of their best leave the contest early with injuries.

Gay pulled up lame early in the first quarter with a left Achilles injury after he converted a 10-foot floater. He grimaced in pain as he jogged down the floor and immediately left the game and did not return.

There have been no further details as to how serious the injury is for the Kings swingman.

Cousins' injury occurred a quarter later as he drove to the lane on Houston guard Patrick Beverley and rolled his left ankle. He was diagnosed with a sprained ankle.

Both players will be reevaluated on Thursday.
