Detroit also signed forward Tony Mitchell, the team's first of two second- round draft selections. The North Texas product averaged 7.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in Summer League play.

Mitchell, the 37th overall choice, recorded 13.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.7 blocks over 32 contests with the Mean Green in 2012-13.
