Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Indians activated reliever Vinnie Pestano from the 15-day disabled list on Friday.

Pestano, the Indians' primary setup man, last pitched on April 28 against the Kansas City Royals before suffering from tendinitis in his right elbow. He was placed on the DL retroactive to May 1.

The 28-year-old Pestano has allowed two runs in eight appearances this season. In 2012, he went 3-3 with a 2.57 ERA in 70 games and had 36 holds, which ranked second in the majors.
