Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Phillies transferred pitcher Mike Adams to the 60-day disabled list on Tuesday.

In addition, reliever Phillippe Aumont was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley while pitcher Luis Garcia's contract was selected from the IronPigs.

The 24-year-old Aumont was 1-3 with a 4.19 ERA in 22 appearances this season.

Garcia, 26, has split time between Single-A Clearwater, Double-A Reading and Lehigh Valley in 2013, going 2-2 with a 1.67 ERA in 31 contests.
