MEAC/SWAC Challenge to be played at UCF

Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Th 10th annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge between Alabama A&M and North Carolina A&T has been moved to Bright House Networks Stadium on the campus of the University of Central Florida on Aug. 31.

The game has been played at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium since 2008, but the stadium will be unavailable while undergoing renovation.

SWAC representative Alabama A&M, coming off a 4-8 season, will be making its debut under new coach James Spady. MEAC representative North Carolina A&T finished 7-4 under coach Rod Broadway last season.

MEAC teams hold a 7-2 lead in the Challenge.

The MEAC/SWAC Challenge was played at Legion Field in Birmingham, Ala., from 2005-2007 before the game was moved to Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium.
