This year more than 250,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer; 40,000 will die from this devastating disease. In light of these statistics, WTVA is committed to the fight against breast cancer and the search for a cure.
Each month, on the 9th of the month, we air Women's Network 9 on WTVA News. Our mission is to educate women about Breast Cancer and encourage them to take the steps needed to stay healthy. We feature the latest news on research, survivor stories and a reminder for women to do their monthly breast self exam.
You can also join the network by call 1-800-882-6274. Each month we will mail you a breast self exam reminder card plus information that is important to your health.
