News Anchor
Brief Description:
Duties required but not limited to, following directions from supervisor to cover various news stories. Applicant must be able to drive vehicle to cover various news stories. Must be professional and courteous with all individuals while on the job. Person will be required to obtain pertinent information from sources, shoot video with station cameras, write stories and edit stories with station equipment. Work must be done in timely manner to make best use of equipment and meet all deadlines. Person must be able to communicate on camera either live or on tape effectively and conversationally. Must be able to produce newscast on daily basis or on fill-in basis. Must assist with closed captioning of various news broadcasts.
Minimum Requirements
• Four year college or university degree
• One year of experience working in newsroom and/or experience working at college television station

Part Time Operations
Brief Description:
Duties required, but not limited to, running character generator, audio, camera, master control, tape rolling, floor directing or remote camera operation for news updates and newscasts. Must be familiar will all aspects of receiving satellite feeds and be able to take those feeds on short notice. Will assist with commercial or promotion production when requested. May be asked to assist with remote productions, special projects or studio tapings as needed. Will input commercials, promos or other material into server for playback. Must be able to communicate well with others and always be professional with all members of station staff. Will be required to work weekends if scheduled.
