Law enforcement make two drug arrests

KOSCIUSKO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Police in Attala County arrested two people on drug charges recently.

Thursday, officers executed a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Kenderich Peppers, 36.

Authorities say Peppers was arrested and charged with driving under the influence second offense, possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance as well as other traffic violations.

WTVA news partner KosyOnline says police seized Peppers' vehicle and $385.00 during the arrest also.

Peppers' bond has not been set yet.

Another arrest was made in a separate case Friday.

Kosciusko police executed a narcotics search warrant on a residence on West South Street.

Nichole Prince, 29, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute after crack cocaine was found at the residence.

Prince is being held in the Attala County Jail on a $10,000.00 bond.
