STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. for former Mississippi State University President Donald Zacharias.
Zacharias died Sunday at the age of 77 following an extended illness.
The university will release specifics on the service later in the week.
In the meantime, flags on the MSU campus have been lowered to half staff through sunset Thursday by order of Governor Phil Bryant.
