CHOCTAW COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA)-The Simpson Volunteer Fire Department is investigating a mobile home fire.
It happened Sunday around 11:30 a-m
Fire Chief Smith Rabun says a bed ridden elderly woman and her adult son were inside the home when the fire started.
The son was able to carry his mother out of the home and she is being treated at a local hospital.
Chief Rabun says the home was destroyed and the cause is most likely electrical.
