KOSCIUSKO, Miss. (WTVA/KosyOnline.com) -- A Weir woman has died in a Tuesday morning traffic accident in Attala County.
WTVA News Partner KosyOnline.com reports the accident happened around 7:20 on Highway 14 West, two miles from the intersection of Highway 43.
Attala County Coroner Sam Bell identified the woman as Brenda Ann Potts, 51.
The accident remains under investigation, but KosyOnline reports authorities believe Potts car was sideways in the highway when it was hit by a pickup truck.
She died at the scene of the accident.
