TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- Tuscaloosa police say they have charged a suspect in connection with the disappearance of a 30-year-old man who has been missing for 10 days.

Al.com reports 35-year-old Alexius Foster was taken into custody by the Mississippi Highway Patrol during a traffic stop in Union County, Miss., after Alabama authorities obtained a warrant for his arrest. Foster has been charged with attempted murder in the July 17 disappearance of Antonio Lashawn Williams of Tuscaloosa.

Sgt. Dale Phillips of the Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Unit says investigators still haven't found Williams, but they believe he was injured.

Phillips says Foster will be held on a $1 million bond when he is extradited to Alabama from Mississippi. It was unknown Saturday if Foster had an attorney.
