TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Authorities say the man they spent Tuesday searching for turned up just before 6:00 p.m. and is safe.

Lee County authorities say agencies from three counties started searching for a missing Saltillo man after he failed to show up for work Monday.

Sheriff Jim Johnson says Phillip Cameron, 54, was last seen Sunday night around 7:45 p.m.

Johnson says they were able to track his cell phone to Tippah County, where Cameron is known to have friends.

The sheriff says overnight Tippah County authorities found Cameron's truck parked, with the engine running, on the side of a county road.

Officials conducted the search in the area along the Tippah-Prentiss County line.
