STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Starkville Police Department has arrested Colton Jackson Stephens, 20, of Germantown, Tennessee and currently residing at 308 Montgomery Street in Starkville, charging him with multiple counts of malicious mischief.
Investigators say Stephens is responsible for numerous acts of vandalism that have occurred throughout the city in the form of graffiti dating back to almost a year ago.
He was using the nickname “OwenS” to mark dozens of pieces of public and private properties.
Stevens has confessed to his crimes and is currently being held in the Oktibbeha County Jail pending a bond hearing.
Stevens is an architecture student at Mississippi State University.
