CORINTH, Miss. (WTVA) -- An inmate at the Alcorn County Regional Correctional Facility is back in custody after failing to return from a three-day honorary leave.

Authorities issued the alert after Luke Gregory Calton, 27, did not show up as scheduled to the Alcorn County State Work Center Monday.

Calton was caught around 10:30 PM Monday night near Burnsville.

Law enforcement in the area searched for Calton, who was serving a ten-year sentence on burglary and larceny charges out of Tishomingo County.
