HODGES, Ala. (WTVA) -- Fifteen people were taken to hospitals after a school bus accident Thursday afternoon in Franklin County, Alabama.
Authorities say 30 people were on a Franklin County School District bus from Vina High School when it struck a pickup truck at Highway 172 and Overton Farm Road near Hodges.
The accident happened around 3:15 p.m.
No one was killed, but 14 children suffered minor injuries.
The other person injured was the driver of the truck, 20-year-old Channing Haithcock of Vina, Alabama.
Haithcock was flown to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo for treatment.
