STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — Two men are in custody after a 22-year-old man died of an apparent drug overdose over the weekend.

Starkville officers and the Oktibbeha County Hospital's EMTs responded to a North Nash Street home around 2 a.m. Sunday in regard to an unresponsive male, identified as Starkville resident Thomas Parker Rodenbaugh.

Authorities say attempts to revive Rodenbaugh were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the Oktibbeha County Hospital from what appeared to be a drug overdose.

Police say Skylar Noel O'Kelly, 21, of Starkville faces charges of manslaughter by culpable negligence in connection with Rodenbaugh's death.

Skylar and Daylin Deveaeux O'Kelly, 19, of Madison also face charges of possession of LSD with intent over 40 dosage units.

Both Skylar and Daylin were processed and transported to the Clay County jail where they await their initial appearance before Municipal Court Judge Rodney Faver on Monday night.
