ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Monroe County sheriff's department says two people face charges in an armed robbery in Monroe County.
Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says Katherine Payne, 21, of Tupelo and Anthony Ray Loague, 28, of Fulton were taken into custody for the robbery that happened in the Black Cat Bottom area of the county over the weekend.
Both are charged with armed robbery.
Cantrell says the victim was lured to the area by two women and robbed at gunpoint by two men who jumped out of the woods.
The men took his money and a cellphone.
Authorities continue to search for Larry "Alex" Christian, 26, of Itawamba County Candace Marie Richardson, 21, of Nettleton in connection with the robbery.
