Two arrested in Pontotoc burglaries

PONTOTOC, Miss. (WTVA) -- Pontotoc police have arrested two men in connection with the burglaries of three homes and a business in the city.

Chief Larry Poole says Nathaniel Williams, Jr., 28, of Belden and Kelvin Keith Miles, 29, of Pontotoc face charges in connections with the burglaries.

Poole says Williams is also charged with one count of uttering a forgery.

Williams is in the Pontotoc County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Miles is being held on a $30,000.

Poole says the arrests were made after a tip provided information one a vehicle seen at one of the breakins.

The Pontotoc Sheriff's Department assisted in the investigation.
