LOWNDES CO., Miss. (WTVA) -- Authorities in Lowndes County have arrested two people on meth-related charges.
According to the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office, Mark Kessler of Crawford and David Ray Keating of Columbus are both charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Narcotics agents say they seized more than one ounce of meth ice, which has a street value of $4,000.
Kessler's 2011 Ford F-250 was also seized during the arrest.
Kessler had an outstanding warrant for possession of meth at the time of the arrest on Monday, September 16.
Keating is currently on probation with MDOC.
Both are being held in the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
