Tupelo, Miss (WTVA) -- A Tupelo man is behind bars and charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute.

Charges against 22-year-old Christopher Livingston are enhanced because there was a weapon in the home.

The Lee County Sheriff's Department issued a search warrant after receiving a tip about drug activity at a home east of Plantersville.

Sheriff Jim Johnson says the meth discovered is part of a new trend because it has a different type of ingredient.

Livingston's bond is set at $50,000.
